| Logical Consistency | The dataset is topologically 'clean'. | |||
| Completeness | All VSMP monitoring sites are included as of 6/2/2003. | |||
| Horizontal Positional Accuracy | The positional accuracy of the dataset has not been tested under the National Standards for Spatial Data Accuracy. The positional accuracy of the dataset is estimated to be generally within 50 meters. | |||
| Vertical Positional Accuracy | NA | |||
| Lineage | Update: 10/28/03 Six sites in Carver County and one site in Sibley County were added. Locations for these sites were provided by Carver County Planning and Zoning. Original Publication: 6/2/03 The monitoring site locations were determined using a combination of techniques. Some sites were located using GPS receiver with an unknown positional accuracy. Other monitoring site locations were determined by visual inspection of maps. Descriptions of the locations included stream name, nearest road crossing, and distance and direction from the nearest road corssing. The sites were then manually located using the Met Council's stream network layer and the TLG roads data layer. |
