| Purpose | The transportation analysis zones layer was developed as a means to compile, analyze and exhibit demographic data and data related to capacity to produce travel. The primary analysis is the magnitude of tripmaking created within each TAZ and the interaction of these trips between the various zones within the region. | |||

In December 2003, attributes for population and households were added. This attribute data was from the US Census Transportation Planning Package (CTPP) part 1. |
